I have often thought to read one of his books since first seeing a copy being read in Singapore in but somehow kept putting it off until last week when I found the kindle edition. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and found much of the material in it downright inspiring.

When I read it I was under the impression, as any impressionable LSD addled teen might be, that this was some sort of authentic account of a young man’s experience of Tibetan Buddhism. Tuesday Lobsang Rampa elaborates upon his own life as a Lama, and reveals information about the human existence and powers which is both hard to accept and refute.

I might read it again. The portions in the book which talk One thing that can be said for sure about this book is that it offers a fascinating look into the Tibetan philosophy and religion through the eyes of the author. I enjoyed reading especially the Tibetan wisdom and their religion concepts, as well as those weird and scientific-unproven yet mysteries.

It is a moving tale of passage through the mystic arts of astral projection, crystal gazing, aura deciphering, meditation, and more, a spiritual guide of enlightenment and discovery through the opening of the all-powerful, the all-knowing. This book was such an intensely crushing disappointment that I’ve practically developed a split personality trying to deal with it.

It was a little weird. What tuesdah your noble father say? If you have ever found yourself lost under the burden of some of the biggest philosophical questions concerning life, this book will surely lend a valuable perspective.
