Maybe a bit bleak, but not totally hopeless. By ignazuo end you’re left wondering if the book’s true hero is not Spina, but Zabaglione, a man who is has conserved his resources to do the rebuilding when Fascism is finally gone. But yesterday, I read the last chapters and found it all came together in a well thought out way. Shipping cost cannot be calculated.
